P. V. Sindhu Felicitated
at CBE Following DAIHATSU Japan Open 2026 Triumph
Sindhu said the victory, her first major title in seven years, was deeply satisfying and had strengthened her confidence ahead of the BWF World Championships 2026, scheduled in New Delhi from 17 August. She hoped to carry the momentum forward and thanked her coach Irwansyah, Vimal Kumar, and the entire CBE team for their continued guidance and support.
Vimal Kumar, Director and Chief Coach of CBE, congratulated Sindhu and credited her success to years of discipline, dedication, and hard work. He said her commitment on the training court would inspire the young players at CBE to pursue excellence with the same determination.
Former National Coach T. P. S. Puri also congratulated Sindhu, wished her success at the World Championships, and encouraged all CBE players to continue working hard towards their badminton goals.
